    1. I have to declare my vested interest, as the producer for Spinechillers, I have had the pleasure of working with Doug throughout the series. Volume 6 stands out to me as my personal favourite from the collection so far. Why? Rats in the Walls and An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge. Rats is, for me at least, an almost perfect Lovecraft story. He leads us adroitly down the path to the story's inevitable conclusion, the feeling of dread building all the time.
