    About "N.J. Nielsen/ Saddington"

    1. N.J. Nielsen/ Saddington

NJ, is just an ordinary person that has a million stories in her head that she needs to get out and share with the world I began writing at the age of Twelve with a book Called Admetus Gaea Untamed World which I have only recently just found and am almost finished writing it I love reading anything, and I have worked my way through a few over the years My own writing features it all from the paranormal preternatural, fey, demons human I start with just a picture or a title and sit back as the M M stories unfold I do not plot, preferring to write in Utter Chaos I was raised in Gladstone, Queensland and now live in a small country town with my family.

    1. ***Read as part of the free Don't Read in the Closet: Volume Two anthology. Story #21***Whoa! My head is spinning from all the elements mixed here.Yeah, it confused me at times but it was sooo entertaining!

    2. This has such an epic feel and I was thrilled that each of the main characters had their own voice. I love being able to get inside each of their heads to better know and understand them. More often than not my heart was in my throatLots of angst, lots of doubt and fear but beautifully balanced with lots of hope and ultimately three times the love. Speaking of love I would love to read more about all of these people didn't want to see "the end".

    3. What a wonderfully complex story with so many intriguing aspects! The humor was fantastic:) I had a LOL moment when I read: "oh God; he would kill for a roll of toilet paper. He had learnt the hard way that not all leaves were good for that type of thing." I liked the angst and struggle as the three men tried to come to terms with the challenges of their newly forged m/m/m relationship. Very rich and wonderfully written! Great job:)

    4. Andreas, a vampire, was accidentally sent to a Viking village in the past by his witch friend. The village was led by Rorik, a handsome viking leader, and his number two, Thorik. There was also a young man, Leif, who was taken from other village and was treated as a semi-slave there. An unplanned events led Leif to be bonded with Andreas and Rorik. Meanwhile, the beast inside Rorik was eyeing the newcomer as his mateI usually am not into menage, but I enjoyed reading this one.

    5. This one really wasn’t for me. (view spoiler)[ I have only finished chapter 1 as I write this part: I guess I am confused why during the fight that the guy who is losing already, when he gets an advantage goes after the already weak and injured guy instead of trying to finish off his current challenger. And there is talk of his leadership being challenged soon. I am wondering how it has not already been challenged if he has to disappear for three days every month. I mean what if something impor [...]

    6. Ok, why I gave the book just one star:The whole book confused me.Nothing against the main characters, they were all right, I guess; but until the end I thought that Andreas was send into the past by a woman not by a man. Yes, it confused me that a wizard was called a 'witch'.Second: when Andreas and Rurik had sex the first time; II thought that Leif pretended to be asleep and therefore was left out, but suddenly he was right in it? have I overlooked something? So, yes, that's why it only got one [...]

    7. Norma, I love this story! Andreas's confusion (movie set? Lol), his concern and caring for Leif growing into love, Leif's pain upon Rurik's laughter, Rurik's struggle to accept the mating bonds, Tucker's banter masking a caring heart, Leif growing strength and happiness by having a family - all rang true for me. The whole story is fantastic! Thank you for writing it - I can't wait to read more of your work!

    8. *** 3 stars ***Well, wasn't that a big concoction of story elements?Let's throw in everything all at once, shall we?- vikings- vampire- wolf shifter- mate bond- blood bond- witch- magic and spells- submission- bondage- menage- twink- alpha male- stripteaseDid I miss anything? Oh yes, "To be gay or not to be", that was the question. God, it was like drama daytime television, those were you roll your eyes at all the silliness, but can't help to be sucked into the story anyway. And you can't seem [...]

    9. While I liked it overall, it probably would have gotten one more star if Rurik's character had been written differently. He didn't come across as a very good leader to me, I sort of wondered how he stayed in power if no one respected/feared him enough to listen when he told them to do or not do something. He lacked the inner qualities that would have really shown to be a good leader. He was too worried about what others thought about him and he didn't keep his promises - he was too busy kissing [...]

    10. Truthfully, I was a little confused when this story started out. I continued with it, because confusion is not a deterrent! The story is about a vampire names Andreas (which is why I was so confuseddidn't really get that until a couple of pages in) and being in the wrong place at the wrong time; quite literally! He wanted to be in Brisbane, 2011; that's not where he ended up. What happened next was not at all expected, but it made for a pleasant surprise. The ending was a happy one for all parti [...]

    11. Wow. This was just too weird. The paranormal aspects of the story were interesting but needed more explaining. I'm not a fan of "gay-for-you" stories and the sex scenes were just too cheesy and too much like bad porn. It was too hard for me to appreciate the straight guys having gay sex and being 100% comfortable with it. I just think insta-love is kind of a cop out for a writer to resort to. Sorry. The sentence structure and the flow were good though. I've read enough book that have awful flow [...]

    12. 2.5 stars The idea and the plot were interesting and refreshing. A vampire gets thrown back in time by accident. He gets to spend some time in a village of Vikings. There he bonds with two of them. One of them is a shifter. The other one is a slave. They go through a lot together and end up happy. I had trouble with the writing. it seed unpolished and unfinished. That made it difficult to truly enjoy the story. I'd still like to read more of that world.

    13. (view spoiler)[(hide spoiler)]The story was super cute, but the writing and the editing were really confusing.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

    14. I liked it. I felt the characters were good and the plot entertaining. The writing though felt disjointed at times; I often had to reread paragraphs as I felt like I missed a transition or sentence. The other thing that bothered me was the lack of anything lube like being used. Even in the past you needed slick or penetration was going to hurt!

    15. Wow! Just wow! What a fantastic read. Norma's writing is fresh as ever and she made that viking village jump off the pages and come to life with ease, like she does with everything she writes. I have a very good knowledge of viking history (me being Icelandic and all) and I was blown away! I can't wait to see more from this author.

    16. I didn't know what this was about because I didn't read the blurb, and I was definitely surprised! This short is packed full of vamps, weres, magic, and time travel. It was very well developed for its length and I enjoyed the story.

    17. this story wasn't for me, tho I love to read paranormal and historical this just didn't click with me the relationship between the characters seemed off a bit I was confused often, in so many ways has room for improvement in the story line, dialog, narration etc

    18. Don't Read in the Closet: Volume TwoMy Rating System:* couldn't finish, ** wouldn't recommend, *** would recommend, **** would read again, ***** have read again

    19. Really engaging story about time travel, shifters, vamps, a rogue witch and Viking warriors! I know it sounds crazy - but it really works.

    20. Loved the idea and the characters; really interesting setup. But please, get an editor. Too many typos, and the plot could benefit from being more fleshed out.
