    1. This is a charming little tale set in 1812 England, and it pertains to exactly the kind of thing I've always wondered about (Relations between two men in love, if you must know.) Obviously such things must have gone on in that time and in such society. But Jane Austen wouldn't have written about them -- or at least we haven't discovered any such forgotten manuscripts, though one never knows, really ;-) I found it rather a delicious experience to read something straight-up about this subject matt [...]

    2. A Foxgrove Wedding is the third of four books [so far] about Roderick, a Baron's second son and Thomas the estate manager. They fell in love and have to strategize to keep their love hidden. But of course when it comes to 'true love' nothing ever goes smoothly and as planned. Nice easy read, each about an hour's read and is a continuation of the previous book.

    3. I thought this was a cute short story, and really liked the way the author's prose set the period mood. The characters, part of an ongoing story, are likeable as well.I think my main criticism of this book would be the it lacks emotion. Nothing that happens seems to impact the couple, and given that this book is about one gay character marrying a woman to protect himself, you'd think they would have some emotional moments.Also, there is a plausibility issue to me regarding having a committed lif [...]
