    About "S.A. Welsh"

    1. S.A. Welsh

There really is nothing better than a good book and a big mug of tea on a rainy day, which is often needed when considering the wet weather in Wales She is rarely found without a book of some description on her person and a notebook, she can always be seen scribbling and doodling while lost in thought about sometimes random nonsense or day dreaming about alternate worlds of fiction Real life may not be much fun but the imagination allows infinite possibilities to be explored and lots of naughty fun too if you re up to the challenge So in the words of a crazy scientist I reject your reality and submit one of my own Happy reading.

    1. Ahh of my favorite plots:1. Shifter & vampire meet2. (Almost) immediately get all bitey while declaring each other "Mine!"3. Sexy times & various life threatening events proceed apace. This is all that plus some fun scenes with the MCs family & several mentions of fast & furious cars (which completely went over my head but I'll mention it nonetheless). Similar to a really well-done Stormy Glenn novella (take that as you will), it was silly but enjoyable. 3 good times stars.

    2. Okay, I think the last time I read something that made me exclaim "oh my god, are you kidding me" out loud so many times while reading, I was eyes deep in Harry Potter fandom, and there might have been a desperate love potion plot, violet eyes and twitching poles. Which is not to say that I am against love potions plots, per se. I am not against any plot per se, as long as there is some good execution going with it. I wanted to like this book so bad. It has everything I am a sucker for - vamp/sh [...]

    3. I enjoyed this however it has something of a To Be Continued style ending, clearly crying out for series additions.whether they will be different couples or more Remy & Skylar I don't know - both would work well. It was exciting and interesting and the sex scenes were good if rather abundant.

    4. New-to-me authors are a bit of an addiction and there's nothing I find more exhilarating than reading a story by someone new, particularly in my very favorite paranormal genre. Reading the description for 'Blind Under the Moon' had me very interested because I adore shifter and vampire matings, not to mention the prospect of the world building done by the author. I have pretty strong opinions on the qualities and characteristics an alpha should have. Remy basically knocked it out of the park ver [...]

    5. This was just all over the place, moved at the speed of light so there so no character development. None. And what was there was totally slapped together. So the former alpha gouged out Skylar's eyes but then the author needed him to already be capable as a blind person so then made him blind the whole time. Huh? Then why the hell would they have attacked specifically his eyes? How much better of a story would it have been to see Skylar learning how to deal with his blindness and adapting to a n [...]

    6. The starting point in "Blood Moon Pack Alliance" series was actually pretty solid and enjoyable, I liked it. Remy, the new young Alpha is a cool character. He isn't perfect in his alpha role, but acts realistic and fair. I liked him, because of that. Everything else will develop in the next books. Skylar, the vampire and Remy, the Alpha, we can see that their storyline and romance isn't specially fresh or new, but nonetheless enjoyable enough, for a start.

    7. Disappointed, Darien is disappointed. This book fizzled out half way through after such a good beginning *shakes head*.

    8. Original Blog Post: headouttheoven/20Remy is what one would call a youngest child and like all youngest children, they are either cuddled and baby-spoiled by the parents or elder siblings or, get teased, ordered and sometimes put down by the elder ones. It's all good really, youngest children can be very resilient. Especially when the others are all part of a litter and he was born a singleton. They learn to rely on themselves and get the better end of inner strength. One day, the alpha summons R [...]

    9. Blind Under the Moon is a great start to the Blood Moon Pack Alliance series. It’s got some of my favorite things-true/fated mates, vampires and wolf shifters…plus secrets becoming revealed and some hot and sexy action between the two main characters.Remy doesn’t know he’s meant to be an alpha wolf, and it comes as a genuine surprise to him (and his best friend) when it happens. The author does a really good job of writing his character to show his youth and strong emotions, and for the [...]

    10. I really, really liked this story. It was different enough from the "usual suspects". The wolf shifter was powerful but not over arrogant. The vampire was super-hot. This is clearly the beginning of a series or should be if it isn't. I'll definitely move forward with this series.I would have probably rated this book 4.5 or 5 stars but it really needed another editor to pick up typos, added words, dropped words, and incorrect prepositions.Still, a very enjoyable story!

    11. 3,5 *A very enjoyable read, but I would've loved to feel more connected to the characters. Also, some things the blind mate could do were too much, even for a vampireThe edditing mistakes were bothersome, and this coming from a person that don't have the english as a first language says much. But I liked the story and will check the sequel.

    12. In my personal opinion this is, overall, an okay story. Interesting enough that I finished it, but with several negative points: a few editing mistakes, confusing and sudden changes and drama. (view spoiler)[Also, is it just me or did almost all of Remy's single brothers suddenly gain a romantic interest in this story? That made everything feel incredible "forced". (hide spoiler)]

    13. Insta-love on crack. I really wish we could have gotten to know Remy in his current life before we were thrown into the "suddenly alpha" phase. Lots of sex. Things happening too fast. It just never delved into anything deeper so I never got emotionally involved with anything. Lots of telling without experiencing. There was a point where I wondered if this actually came after another series, maybe, because of the synopsis like feel of the telling. Lots of editing mistakes, but I could look past t [...]

    14. Series: Blood Moon Pack AllianceAuthor: S.A. WelshSeries Overall Rating: 4 StarsI haven’t ever read an S.A. Welsh book so this series was a new one for me all around. Shifters and vampires and true mates all in one story? Yes please! The overarching storyline is about Remy finding himself in charge of his pack after fighting his Alpha and finding out he’s been an Alpha all along but his mother hid the fact from him to protect him. With good cause since his Alpha was not a good guy. Each book [...]

    15. POV: Third Person (limited)Kisses: 3.5 Kisses: A good easy read. You liked it and would recommend it.Remy must learn to put his doubts aside and become the Alpha he needs to be to protect his pack and his new blind vampire mate.Remy is a wolf shifter who loves getting under the hood of a beauty with lots of horses and hates his mother nagging him to start having pups. When he is summoned to his asshole alpha's house, things go from bad to worse as he fails a test of loyalty by refusing to tor [...]

    17. I liked itThere was just something about this one that I liked.I thought Remy was a good character. I liked the the fact that when he fought the Alpha, it was over the treatment of a family member not the mate he had just met. Sure he was never going to kill the vampire, but he only started fighting when his family member was attacked. I also liked that he held onto his softness once he became alpha. He was aggressive when needed but still thought and protected others.I enjoyed his brothers and [...]

    18. Blind Under The Moon is the first book in the Blood Moon Pack Alliance series, and it starts with Remy being called to his Alpha's house, for reasons unknown to him. When told to do something he doesn't agree with, Remy finds out that he is more than he thought which brings about a whole new host of problems. One thing at a time though. This is a fast-paced, action-filled start to the series. It is full of steamy scenes, humour, sibling rivalry/loyalty and offers glimpses of future pairings. With [...]

    19. Contemporary M/M wolf shifter and a vampire romance. So there is this big smart wolf shifter that has all the signs of becoming an Alpha, but no one clues him in until it is too late and he is fighting for his life with the cruel Alpha of his present pack. I liked Remy. He really was a bit of an aimless loner although still very smart and loving to his big wolf shifter family. So Remy didn't want to become the leader up steps up and his kind justice makes him a great leader to his new hybrid pack [...]

    20. S.A. Welsh knocks it out of the park, with the introduction of a new idea of shifters that is interesting and fresh. I loved the idea of a blind vampire, who is anything but vulnerable because of it. I adored Skylar and he was beyond perfect for Remy.Skylar was the character that helped Remy become the great leader he needs to be. I loved the little quirks and the way the author makes Remy into a stronger wolf. The way that vampires bond with their mates was very well done and fun to explore. The [...]

    21. This story has potential. I like the third shifting idea, reminds me of the underworld wolves or lycans. I like the sense of mystery with this strange poison and what it's doing to the pack and possibly the vampires and the why's of it all. What I really suggest though is an editor. The book didn't have a very good flow, and I didn't find the sense of humor very funny. I thought for a "proper" vampire, Skylar, sounded kind of bratty and his dog jokes sounded demeaning to his wolf mate. I also go [...]

    22. 3.5While not completely smooth sailing the editing needed a little work but not nearly the worst I've ever seen.Interesting start of a new series. I'd certainly be inclined to see where this leads, granted it doesn't take 2 years to follow it up. I must say with smell again being a focal point of knowing mates, I did find it confusing that it took so long for Remy at least to figure it out. We get the low down on this a little later though. Then there's the interesting relationship Remy possesse [...]

    23. A nice quick read full of sexy men, wolves and vampires. There is drama, action, intrigue and humor. There are a couple of really nice sexy scenes between the MC's but not a major part of the story which is refreshing. The MC's are good strong men and while there is some self doubt there is no mistaking either character for weak or feminish. It is a novella so we do get the mate instalove and events are fast paced but I knew that going in and that's why I sometimes pick these sort of books. I wo [...]

    24. Actually my thoughts are pretty much what Relly said in their review. I would add that there is a longer plotline going on, which is a bit clumsily dealt with, but Remy drew me in, and his family. The Fated Mates thing and insta-love was ever present, but I was drawn in and enjoyed the story anyway. I read the sequel which was shorter and sillier and a bit cinder-fella. Still beguiled by this first book, I will have a look at subsequent books in the series a bit later. Sometimes reading too many [...]

    25. This author was totally new to me! This book came up on my kindle suggestions so I took a chance and I love it! The book was awesome. It wasn't super predictable or boring at all. It even surprised me at a point or two. I also appreciate that even though Skylar is blind it was NOT a plot point or story line it just WAS. I love that it was just another part of who Skylar was. The whole book wasn't built around his blindness. VERY REFRESHING!!!

    26. I liked this one thought, again, it was a rather simple story. I liked Remy and his vampire mate. The disability of one of the characters is always an interesting feature as it forces the author to describe a different way of interacting.Unfortunately we didn't get to read Skylar's thoughts as the story was told from Remy's point of view but it was a relxing book with a nice cast of characters.

    27. This was 6 books in this series which features all m/m or m/m/m love journeys of paranormal vampires and wolves. There is a lot of sexy scenes involving blood exchange, biting, body transformations and of course love. The books are explicit. The writing had a good flow to it. They was definitely cross over of characters in each book. The books can be read as stand alones but it is better to read the books in order of series. REVIEWER ANN
