    5. First Seven seemed like a really cheaply written bullshit. First I felt like the book would be boring, like I would had to force myself to keep reading it. But Seven eventually got me, it caught me (And even though it took a while, it didn't matter since the book was kinda short.) and I had to finish it. I had to because it started to feel like it was ending, but I needed so many things to happen and there were so few pages left. Seven definitely had one of those endings that are horrible and am [...]

    6. This book followed the movie title Seven. It is very disturbing - a story about a series of murders, each representing one of the seven deadly sins.I really just remember the grisly parts - descriptions of when the murder victims were discovered. Haunting, but stays with me.Wouldn't read this one again.

    9. Incredible. Couldn’t put the book down. It all tied together. I can’t flaw the amazing plot twist. The whole book built up to the ending which did not disappoint.

    11. Question # 15 Pages 1 - 24Seven is a ficton novel written bt Anthony Bruna and it tells the story about two detectives that have to resolve a series of murders commited by a psychopath. Thoose murdeers represent each one Seven Deadly Sins.William Somerset have worked for 23 years as detective and he has only seven days left to retirement. He recives a call about a murder. In the crime scene he met the man who would be his replacement, detective David Mills. They begun to work together investigat [...]

    12. 12/20Penguin Readers, Level 4Time: 12/17=30minutes, 18=20minutes, 19=60minutes.7 words: Murders, Detectives, Retirement, Struggle, Sins, Lose, Stay.Discussion questions:1. Some muder cases with guns happen in this story. What do you think of guns? Do you agree that ordinary people own them?I think they are very dangrous, and disagree with that. I learnt that about 3 people are killed with guns every one hour in the US. I think that's very crazy. Also, I'm really worried that the number of muder w [...]

    13. In a way Seven is your classic cop drama: days from retirement, something horrible happens and the cop feels morally obligated to stay until the case is solved. Old Cop is partnered with New Cop, animosity ensues. Unlike most cop dramas, Seven is gruesome. It's not your average Who-Done-It. I love horror and gore (to paraphrase Stephen King, "if you can't get the scare, go for the gross-out"). This book made my stomach turn. It took me roughly 4 days to read, which is slow for me especially base [...]

    14. The cover says this book is written from the screenplay, and I could tell. It was very matter-of-fact, with clear images. There was a lot of emotional distance, and at times I found it hard to keep the characters separate, since the cops referred to everyone by their last names. It's pretty disturbing, because the vivid imagery doesn't stop when the cops reach the crime scene. A serial killer is out to show the evils of the seven sins, and commits murders by forcing a man to eat until he "pops" [...]

    15. I picked up a copy of this book before the movie came out because I knew that I was going to see it and decided that I wanted to read the book first, rather than have it the other way round. It's written in a very chilling manner that stuck with me. The descriptions of how each victim is "handled" were more gruesome than depicted in the film. Don't get me wrong, it's a good book. One that will keep you up into the wee hours of the morning, turning pages to find out what's coming next and then ha [...]

    16. This is a very intriguing book. In the sick twisted mind of the killer is always a 'trickster' to be found, or better yet -- someone who likes to play 'head games' with his prey. Evil seems to be 'no fun' without the twisted intelligence of the possessed and the 'damned'! Like pulling the legs off of cockroach -- one-by-one and watching it suffer. The story line is good and the subsequent movie is even better. I do not know what 'evil' looks like, but I hope this book brings me closer to underst [...]

    17. 7 name,7 victims & 7 murder in here become seriously case & main topic in this psychological thriller!(every people sayin' 7 is sacred number, full of mysterious meaning!)and then 2 expert detective try to breaking that's case who use 7 in every clue's fun and makes readers feels curious!I think seven good in storyline & deliver a different thrilling story.but, seven is not the best crime thriller ever,so much crime thriller story out of there is better than seven, actually:)

    20. A faithful adaptation of the movie with a few minor additions of things that couldn't be shown on screen (mostly character's thoughts). The story is superb, so it's good for reliving the movie, or if you want a quick read to give you the chills.

    21. Had assumed the film had come from a book but I was wrong. This is a small novel read in 20 minutes. Great film!!

    22. "Smoke and dust hanging over the city like the hand of an angry God". a good expression that describe the story and the world too.
