    1. A heftier and more helpful alternative to Fodor's Caribbean Cruise Ports of Call. This volume also includes some sections directed toward readers contemplating visiting ports on cruises. The color photos sprinkled throughout this guide whetted my appetite for both sites that I may visit on an upcoming cruise (e.g Nelson's Dockyard in Antigua, Brimstone Hill on St. Kitt's) and resorts that I will most assuredly visit when I win the lottery (e.g Curtain Bluff in Antigua, the Ladera and Jade Mounta [...]

    2. As always, I am partial to the Fodor's travel guides. This book is big and full of everything you want and/or need to know about the Caribbean islands. That being said, this guide is perfect for finding the perfect destination for your Caribbean vacation but if you already have an island - or group of islands - in mind try in find a travel book that focuses on those alone.

    3. Got this before my Caribbean cruise to check out the things to do in St Thomas, Puerto Rico, St Maarten and Tortola. Like that the maps included were the cruise boats docked and the sights in near proximity so I knew whether to do an excursion or could see the sights on my own.v

    4. Reading this book now for an upcoming trip to the Dominican Republic, next year I'll use it for my trip to St. Marteen.

    5. Taking a trip to the southern islands and this simple straight forward travel guide provided interesting information about the various Caribbean islands.

    6. A great book that helped us narrow down where we wanted to visit. We got a more in-depth book once we decided on the location, but this was a great overview of all the islands. Love Fodor's!
