    1. Not a story reallyI guess if you have read other stories with these characters it would make sense. As it was, this seemed like a chapter from some story that wasn't noted here. The sin here is that he has omitted the rest of the story 😕

    4. Ian Graham's pre Veil Of CivilityI absolutely admire Graham's ability to put into written word, the stories he creates. What a talent. In this short story, and the following, Honorable Deeds, we get to know Declan McIver's early years, in America, and how he came to be there. His early years in Ireland lead to his being trained by Russian Spetsnaz, giving Declan the edge he needs for personal defense.     5. to shortI chose the rating because I was really getting into the book and enjoying it when it suddenly ends. I wanted to continue reason this book. the author could have gone anywhere with it and didn't. it was a great start but I want more.
