    1. I'm a history teacher and I have often lamented the lack of interesting Canadian historical novels for Young Adults. I got a copy of this book from another teacher and I give it to some of my reluctant readers and students who like history. (Yes, some kids really like history.) I received positive feedback from my kids. I believe the story is based on real events.

    2. excellent children's book. Young boys especially will like the adventures George finds himself in and it's Canadian!
