    2. I just finished reading this book to my seven-year-old and I have never seen her so carried away by a story. Reading a chapter a night it took us more than a month to get to the end and she was unusually motivated to get into her pyjamas at bedtime. The story has a strong and simple structure, where each chapter is a new episode in Felicity's journey, usually involving meeting a new character. The different settings and characters are richly imagined and provide constant contrast and fresh chall [...]

    3. Review from my 12 year old daughter: Magical Masquerade was very good, with good character development. All the characters had a natural reason to be helping and in the book. I liked the idea of the book and it felt well put together. The ending was extremely unexpected and emotional. I enjoyed it and would give it 4.5/5, rounded up to a 5 on GR. Give it a go!
