    1. At one level, this book can be said to be a continuation of the Orwell/Huxley dystopia tradition. But what distinguishes it from Brave New World and 1984 is the upbeat way in which it shows the opponents of the tyranny fighting back.     2. So disappointing. There's so much that could have been done with this, but it just fell flat for me. Lots of rhetoric, no real character development, and it didn't make me care about what happened.
